How to use Sidegra 50 mg

Dose

Once a day

Start with 50 mg taken as needed about 1 hour before sexual activity. It may be raised to 100 mg or lowered to 25 mg. The maximum is 100 mg, and no more than once a day.

Worth knowing while taking

Take only when needed, not every day.
Food can delay how quickly it starts to work.
Sexual stimulation is needed for it to work.

An erection that lasts too long (priapism): get medical help right away, because penile tissue can be damaged and potency lost permanently

Do not use

  • Anyone taking any form of nitrate or nitric oxide donor (such as amyl nitrite)

Ask first

  • You have a physical deformity of the penis, or a condition that makes a long-lasting erection more likely
  • You take an alpha-blocker (be stable on it first, and start at the lowest dose)
  • Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take

Watch for

  • Abnormal vision, low blood pressure and reduced blood flow to the heart can occur when sildenafil is used without medical advice

  • Nitrates and nitric oxide donors (such as amyl nitrite): never take together
  • Ritonavir: not advised together
  • Alpha-blockers: use with particular care
