What is Tamiflu 75 mg?
Tamiflu 75 mg is an antiviral capsule for influenza. Its active ingredient is oseltamivir, 75 mg per capsule, from Roche, in a box of 10 capsules. It treats influenza A and B and prevents influenza after contact with a case, and it must be started within 48 hours.

Worth knowing while taking
Take with or without food.
If you miss a dose, take it when you remember, unless the next dose is due within 2 hours. Never take a double dose.
To prevent influenza during a community outbreak it may be used for up to 6 weeks (up to 12 weeks if the immune system is weakened), as your doctor directs.
People with reduced kidney function need a lower dose. Children under 13 are dosed by body weight and may need a lower-strength medicine. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use.

Do not use
- Anyone who has had a serious allergic reaction to oseltamivir or any ingredient
- End-stage kidney disease without dialysis (not recommended)

- You have kidney disease or reduced kidney function (the dose must be adjusted)
- It is for a child (the dose depends on age and weight)
- You have just had, or are about to have, the nasal-spray flu vaccine
- Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take
